So did 2 Fractal runs . Both went well then i get kicked ? I did both dps and healing res of other players then get kicked ?

How do you know you were the highest DPS?

More information would be helpful to understand why you were kicked. Plus you can’t see if you do the most DPS and healing isn’t really anything worth bragging about as this game doesn’t have a trinity structure.

Maybe the simple answer was that they didn’t want you in the group for reason I don’t know of.

Did you tell them you had the highest DPS? They don’t like it when you tell them that.

Either the rest of the party didn’t like you or they were friends partied together who wanted you out

I can out DPS most people pretty often, doesn’t make me entitled :P
Until they make a group mechanic where highest DPS cannot be kicked no matter what, this is what we gots. But seriously, likely you were just an outsider to a regular group waiting for another friend to show up. Happens…

If you were unjustly kicked I would report them. Anet does track this sort of thing. If your kick was warrented I’d suggest to forget about it and move on.

Some players seem to enjoy making fractal invites on dailies to kick people for no reason.

All you can do is report them for LFG abuse.

that isnt likely at all. i pug quite often and the only time ive been kicked halfway through a run is when a kittenbag had a friend in the party and took a disliking to me for opening my mouth. pugs dont just get kicked to make room for guildies. he must have typed something that was entirely unbearable for at least 2 of the people he was grouped with. or shown complete incompetence.

I am not certain that one person’s anecdotal experience qualifies as sufficient data to determine likelihood. You not having personally experienced something is no more a measure of that something’s existence than my having never seen Idaho is a measure of its existence.

Yeah I’ve heard things like getting kicked right before completion, that would be an obvious abuse. Dosen’t seem to be the case here though since they did two already. I’ve kicked a few in dungeons before (back when I used to bother with dungeons), but they were just really anti-group solo type players, added nothing to completing it with us apart from nasty attitude when nicely asked to join with us. There is a reason for the existence of the kick button.

kick button should be set to auto afk kicker, leaving the power in the hands of the people is stupid, you don’t see governments giving their citizens such authority do you? it has to be regulated and in the hands of qualified personnels, not every tom kitten and harry.

uhh yeah? A lot worse than a “kick” actually, especially in some US states regarding home invasion robberies where about anything goes for defense. I’d rather take things into my own hands rather that waiting for some GM/Police to show up and prolly after I’m DEAD! er dead..
meh to mechanics, may as well just flip on the switch to Skynet now, machines know nothing about right and wrong.

usually reasons i kick people for is
1. they don’t listen and just charge in when fractal actually requires you to follow certain mechanics/rules
2. they have no experience, don’t know what to do, just screw your entire group over and over and once again, don’t listen

you can have most amazing dps ever (i wonder how you know your dps, i assume 3rd party software that is forbidden actually) but if you attack ooze while it is on defensive thus wiping group or kill chanter thus causing whole group of chanters spawn and heal seal… then i would probably boot you

You might not have been following the mechanics properly or stacking where the meta tells you to.

I was in a group with a potdog earlier today, he was never kicked, but the entire team was not doing the mechanics properly (last boss for giant’s map, people breaking seal before anyone stands next to boss or all mobs were cleared.) And other parts of the fractal that the meta playstyle has you stack to make the fractal easier and quicker, no one went to.

Not sure if your the potdog i had in my group earlier but if you dont follow mechanics right in higher level fractals, people will kick you pretty quick most the time.
