I am more impressed you got GW2 to even run on a $200 Walmart laptop.

There still is hope you can get the usb fixed.
I have used a chain called uBreakiFix. I have had great service and very reasonable prices for other needs.
Then again a full time weeks work at minimum wage will let you get another new $200 laptop!

What actually happened was, there are little skinny tabs in the middle of the usb slots that insert into whatever it is youre plugging into it and my headphones for some reason “held on” to them and when I unplug my headphones they ripped those tabs out with the headphone usb connection… I dont think they can fix that\
I should start a gofundme for a new gaming computer. :’D

Depending on the age of your machine, could fix it for you. Contact support. HP/Compaq has a 1 yr warranty. They will fix it for free.
Don’t think of it as leaving. Think of it as “taking a break.” When you get the chance to come back, everything will seem new again.

Depending on if your Laptop has a slot for it, you can get an Expresscard USB adapter for your PC. You just slide it into your expresscard slot and you will have USB back. They only cost like $20 or so. You just have to make sure you get one compatible with your laptop.
If it has bluetooth capability, get a bluetooth mouse

I never buy any hardware from Walmart. Anything I did in the past lasted me less than 10 months total.
I hope you can find a fix so you can join us for HoT! Definitely next time just build yourself via newegg or go to best buy. Much safer imo via first hand experience. xD

Buying crap products will yield the same risks regardless of where you buy it. I’ve had numerous items from newegg that were DOA, and also went through 3 Xbox360s from Best Buy(probably a bad shipment). So it isn’t where you get it from but what the actual product is.

It runs on my $400 Walmart laptop. It looks kind of ugly at minimum settings, but it runs at a respectable 15-20 fps.

Building a desktop is something that pretty much anyone with a working brain can do. I’m not so sure about building a laptop.
