and its not fair for us to put this negativity out there because of our reasons.
“Our reasons”? The negativity can be blamed on Anet. Perhaps you can tell them to start fixing bugs that have been in the game since launch — over a year and a half ago. Perhaps you can tell them to start creating content that’s more than ticking achievements off a list. Perhaps you can tell them to stop with the gear grind.
I think that would help new players more than telling people to stop being negative on the forums.
Any mature adult who happens to like gaming is going to be aware that 95% of the forums is pure kitten anyway. Any gaming forum, for that matter.

Pretty much. Also, telling forum posters not to say negative things is excellent reverse psychology, aka “trollbait.”
