I’m not sure I’m on the right forums for this but it seemed as good of a place to ask as any. I was wondering if anyone knew what the small chunks in your level gauge meant. are they a representation of your first level and how many times larger your current level is? or something else?

I’ve just checked on level 5, 20, 64 and 80 characters. All except the level 80 had 10 ‘chunks’ so I don’t think it can be related to how much XP you need overall.

I suspect it’s just breaking the XP bar up so it’s easier to see how far along you are. If you’ve filled 3 and a half chunks then that’s 35%. Easier than trying to estimate it without any divisions.

I’m not sure why the level 80 characters don’t have it for the mastery bar though.

I think they are a remnant of an old ui design. At least they look like that to me

I think it’s just basically an indication of your current percentage, since every level until you reach Masteries are divided into ten (so when you have two full, you know you’re about 20% towards the next level).

It is just percent to the next level. That is all.

Penelope and Anchoku are correct. You can verify by using two Writs of Experience on a sub-80 character.

Each Writ gives 5% of a level, and 2 will fill one of the ten subdivisions.
