Guild Wars 2

I just bought guild wars trilogy/eye of the north last night. I would like to link the account to my current guild wars 2 account, but cannot find any manner of doing so. I looked online and attempted to follow the instructions but there is no link on my account page that gives me that option. Did they disable that feature, and if not can someone explain how I should do this please.

On my account page. There you will see link named game content. On that page is place to link account. The link is at bottom of that page.

I checked that page and I see add a code at the bottom of the page, it does not recognize my guild wars authentication code. I bought the game through steam, although I can’t imagine this would be a problem. How ever I still do not see any link which specifies linking the accounts.

Should be below add code link on that page. It say link guild wars account. If you do not have this then maybe need to contact support. Support link top of page. Here is direct link to link account if that help.

One important detail i remember is that both account names for GW1 and GW2 need to be the same.
(and the account name is the email address used)

And when you link accounts, GW1 will now use your GW2 password, both games will always use the same password from that point on.
