Ok there’s proly a post on this some place but since i just returned to see this nice new option implemented i have been using it a lot and in wvw i kept wondering why the enemy was geting there statics off on me before they where in range of my static

well turns out lock ground targeting at max range is not true max range at least for my 1200 range skills it seems more like 1100 range plz fix this and make it viable for competitive game play coz atm its useless outside of pve and can put you at a prety masive disadvantage in wvw when an enemy zerg hit you with a billion spells before comeing in to your suposed max range

If I had to guess, I’d say when manually aiming the range is based on center of AoE circle, and when locked it’s based on that outer edge of the AoE circle, just based on how it looks to me.

Bare in mind, if you have high-ish ping, there’s a time between when you press the button to teleport and when you actually teleport. In this time you’re still walking forwards meaning you never actually go the full 1.2k range…
