More disturbing than the layoffs is the idea that SoE was bought by a investment firm, rather than a game development company.
EQ Landmark and EQ Next will be irrevocably changed by this. I can’t really imagine it’ll be for the better. EQN was one of the games I was keeping an eye on. This is very disappointing news.
I’m really stunned that Sony sold Sony Online Entertainment.
