so, im a lvl 49 ranger and was wondering if combat speeds up more at lvl 80? not that its hella slow or anything. i just seem to auto attack a lot, and that might just be because when im out running around my pet tanks everything for me. i watch a lot of gw2 on twitch it seems like things play faster at lvl 80. made me wonder so i thought id come here and ask

Ranger with longbow is typical of some weapons on some professions in that the #1 attack is often the best option for damage. If you want more action, you can have it now by experimenting with one-hand sword and off-hand dagger, warhorn or axe. If you’re choosing to sit at range while your pet aggros and shoot things now, you’ll likely be doing the same thing at 80 — unless you shake things up by experimenting. Why wait?

it also sounds like you’re only doing open world content, where auto attacking is really all you need to do anyway. once you get into dungeons and other areas of the game, combat will pick up

nice! thanks for letting me know. if i had to switch it up with weapons i would. just wasnt sure if it would force me too use more weapons and skill at higher lvls. dungeons it is! ty
