End-game options:

-Exploring
-Dungeons (speed runs, dungeon tours)
-Fractals (high level fractals require dedication, BiS gear and a good understanding of your class and build)
-WvW, commanding
-PvP, tournaments
-Dress-up/Aesthetics: it can take quite a bit of effort to perfect your look
-Legendary weapons/working towards other expensive skins
-Achievement hunting
-Personal Story
-Living World
-Levelling an alt, learning other classes
-Crafting, maxing out all crafting professions
-Roleplaying, developing your character’s story

Of course, many of these can be done before 80, but that’s the inclusive nature of the game. A-net didn’t want people to be bored whilst levelling or feel like they need to rush to 80.

There is a lot you can do, at least at first.
There are a lot of world bosses and champions around the map.
Many and different dungeons.
There is the PvP and WvW that can suck up a lot of time.
And there is the huge world you can explore that scales down your level to the level of the zone so the contet won’t get redundant.
The crafting and hunting for skins and materials is also part of the game.
There are various events that pops up around the map.

There is planty of content and if you enjoy playing alts, every time it will be different experience. After some time it will get boring, but the expansion is on its way.

The big guild events are kind of lacking in this game, not because there are no WoW like raids, but because the way the guilds are.
