Guild Wars 2

http://wiki.guildwars2.com/images/2/24/Metrica_Province_map.jpg according to this there should be 3 hearts in the hinterlab! Its been doing my head in running around trying to get this map 100% but it turns out its missing from my game? here a screenshot of what i mean compare it to the other map Hinterlabs right of the waypoint….

Any help for a new player?

I completed map 4 times and doing it for the fifth time now. When i can’t find one missing heart i google gw2 (map name) hearts. I open the picture and my ingame map and simply compare (alt tab) and within minutes i find it

yea but look at where im standing on my screenshot the path i took with white dots…then look at the Wikipedia page….where im standing there should be a heart but its not there like at all

Is every other heart accounted for? I think they removed some hearts in starter areas so the wiki might be out of date. I haven’t worked on Metrica lately so I can’t help beyond saying compare the whole map to yours.

Look for a spyglass icon on your map instead.
This will reveal the stuff you missed.

ahh ok thanks for that updated map! i will compare diliginitly until i find the missing bugger hehe

EDIT: i found it on the map you posted! i wont be using Wiki again for map comparisons! if anyone else having any heart problems/issue dont use Wiki maps! thanks again ^.^

You can try a couple of things. Go to your options menu and set your pointer on, Hide Events and Personal Story. It should then point out any map features you have missed. The other is, go through a complete map and look for what you’ve missed.

quick update the wiki was out of date and found the heart missing on map posted above, if anyone googles this in future the fix is not to use wiki they have outdated maps! thanks again Donari you gem!

Rather than expressing no one should use the Wiki, you might consider leaving a not on the Discussion page for that particular entry in the Wiki, and notifying those that edit the Wiki that the picture provided is out-of-date. I’m sure everyone would appreciate your help.
