i wish this was implemented ages ago

my inventory is just permanently full…
and how hard is to to just make it possible to buy 2 more inventory bag slots on the gemshop? :/

i really want to buy almost everything in the gemshop and many other people do so too….
but what reason do i have to buy it if i can never use it because it has to rot in my bank because Anet doesnt allow (at least it really feels like this) me to have it in my inventory…

anet would only win by this … more inventory bag slot sales and i would buy more other stuff

but seriously
i have 160 slots in my inventory
but 18 permanently filled for other armors
12 for other trinkets
7 permanently filled for other weapons
7 filled for bufffood
etc etc
and many more filled with:
endless tonics, costume brawl weapons, instruments, minipets, dancebook, consumables, loot that you get so much that it makes more sense to collect a stack of it (wvw champ bags and the wvw salvage item…)

it feels just stupid to me that i have to put this fun stuff in my bank where i can never use ti when i want it
when im in a dungeon and we wait and i feel the need to use my instrument i dont have a bank… or when i feel the urge to use a tonic right now i want to use it where i am and not load new zones 2×...

i really dont understand why we cant buy more inventory bag slots
so please make it possible

Give us armour/weapon set slots. (in the hero panel).
Food section there too.

these should all be in the hero panel, for easy sahring among alts.

Take things OUT of the inventory, charge for it if they want, I’m sick to death of searching for stuff.

For some reason your post reminds me of the saying, “the stuff we have expands to fill up the available space.”

You have 160 inventory slots and it’s not enough? I have a feeling that if you were given 2 more inventory slots, your stuff would expand to fill up those slots also.

While I have never bought even one extra inventory slot, I am not going to say they should not be available for those who want to spends their money on them. However, I do feel having the chance to store the alternate armr/weapon/trinket sets in a specific place would be a better solution.

I agree with Taygus, it’d be better to take those fun things in a different panel (maybe not the equipment though…) so you only need your inventory for loot.

then you and many other people are happy
and i have more space in my inventory and the convenience of not having to search too when all the other armor/weapon/trinket sets and the nourishments are gone from there

you just dont want them to be added because you think you know that it wont help me while it wouldnt harm YOU in any way??
you dont have to spend any gems but other people might get happy with this change so why would you be so mean and be against it when it has no negative effect on you?

if you were a nice person you would just agree so some people (including me) who want it are happy…

just because you dont buy the stuff and you dont have that many consumables/tonics/equipmentsets/costumebrawl weapons and therfor dont need the slots doesnt mean that i have “HUGE space management problems”…

as i said
i could place all the fun items into my bank… where i can almost never use them when i want to use them
i also dont want to load zones 2x just to change my armor set…

what would be the sense of that?

i have between 40 and 50 free slots but they fill up very fast in dungeon runs for example

ofc it works like this too
i salvage everytime i get loot so it doesnt fill up so fast
and actually im the one who never needs to sell in wvw if the commander or anyone else puts up a merchant
because i salvage and manage the place that i have well

but it would be a nice thing if i just had more storage place in my inventory

just convenience, just a little improvement
just like the endless harvesting tools

or the endless salvage kit
it is all about convenience and not because we absolutely need it….

so i really dont get why people like you just try to prevent improvements…

even if you dont need it at all… it doesnt hurt you in ANY way!

What the OP (or any other player) uses their inventory slots for is none of anyone else’s concern. No need to attack and berate them simply because you do not share their desire for more inventory expansions. If you don’t want more or have no desire for more to be made available for you, that’s your concern. They are making a request/suggestion and supplying their reasoning for this desire for ANet’s sake, not to justify their request to other players.

As for the OP’s request:
I’ve never purchased a single inventory expansion for any of my many characters. However, were I to feel the need to, I would like to know that I would be able to expand them up to and beyond the amount that fills my needs, however many that may be.

I also fully agree with the constructive feedback others left earlier in the thread about dedicated storage slots in the Hero Panel for such items as toys and consumables (minipets too), as well as fully supporting the request for alternate armor and/or weapon storage for easier fast-swapping to a different set (for appearance, stat set or sigil/rune set reasons).

@ OP, no troll, the solution is….endless salvage kit, or carry around 20 of those basic 25 use kits. As long as you have one bag for loot, you can last a few fights, then salvage as you run to next. Armor sets could be put into bank, how often do you switch armor sets? It made more sense when you couldnt repair in fractals and sometimes needed that second armor set, but if you’re going to change your build, you usually have time to run to a bank or a local crafting spot in the zone. Space management solved.

Endless salvage kit is the way to go .. 20 normal kits would give him only more space problems

At this rate, more bag space wont’ save you.

basically you have 116 bag space “minus” the other stuff. If that is not enough, an extra say 40 won’t save you.

Just because people disagree with you doesn’t mean they “hate” your idea, rather you should watch out for people who always just agrees with you since they probably want something from you.

Nice people don;t just blindly agree with ideas, those are annoying people who have plastic masks for a face.

yes life sucks. But the guy pretty much have 116 bag space and that’s not enough, if you ask me, what he really need is option to get rid of drops. So if he can’t get the permanent bank, try for the permanent merchant and salvage o matic to get rid of drop etc.

and if his an altaholic. that will be a serious problem, if he just have 1 character, a permanent merchant and salvage o matic will do.

if anet want to expand bag space I suppose many people will be happy. gem price will probably skyrocket again, and some people will complain they dont’ have enough money.

You can always create and delete a new character every 2 weeks, and use the Banker Golem (it is account-bound) that is sent with each one, as long as you own a DDE or CE. It’s a cheap alternative to the Permanent Bank Access Express.
