Guild Wars 2

I don’t see topics about how good is graphic work in this game!

IMO, what I appreciate the most in GW2 is great graphic work and cool music!

It is pretty solid, As they said on Game Breaker “Guild Wars 2 is one of those games where you don’t have to get somewhere to see something pretty. It’s one of those games where if you gotta get over a hill. That hill probably looks gorgeous” lol

“graphic work” lordy lordy, atleast learn the different types of graphical artists not everyone is a 3D modeler your post is slightly insulting.

The characters and environments are beautiful. I already have too many screenshots and I’ve only got 54% world exploration.

And I do have to give props to whoever did the Vigil heavy armor. An issue I usually have in MMOs is finding stylish, functional armor that doesn’t go crazy with weird shoulders or spikes all over the place and the Vigil set hits the mark perfectly, imo. Not that I actively dislike those sort of sets, of course… I appreciate that they’re available, I just don’t want them for my character.

For comparison, my favorite Warrior armor in GW1 was the Ancient set with the helmet turned off.

Those guys have to be happy, universally no bad words their way, nothing but praise. It is a magnificent world and effort, the biggest stars of GW2.

The game is graphically glorious. That and design choices which breath life into the game make for a very beautiful and engaging game world. Yes, those teams involved deserve all the praise they get. I’m still blown away everyday and I’ve been playing since beta.

Edit: Forgot to mention the music. I just remembered I rolled a sylvari while doing map completion in and around the grove. The music captured me during the exploration. GW2 music adds a compelling component to the overall mix.

Audio visually GW2 is the best MMORPG out there. Even GW1 still looks good. It was so ahead of its competition when it came out in 2005. Now GW2 just makes things look even more pretty. The backgrounds, the character models, the textures, the lights, the particle effects, monsters, music all are glorious.

Yea, the graphical artists in this game did a great job. Even the animations are awesome. This is the first MMO in many years that I didn’t cringe every time I watched my character run because it looked completely unnatural. My engineer really does look like he’s running. >_>

Plus, I like the armor sets. Especially the medium armor ones =D

And the cities/landscapes are just to die for.

If this what they can achieve on launch, imagine what places like kaineng city or the vabbi palaces could like when we get there.

What with skyrim and gw2, we really have been treated to some amazing fantasy landscapes these last couple of years.
