Hi guys, first of all, sorry for my english i know isn’t good but i hope you will understand my thoughts and my suggestions

PVE

Thoughts:

Intro:
I think this game have an awesome world and a wonderfull graphics, but the strongest point is classes… alot of classes with alot of potential mechanism!! LS is nice for have some new contents, and something different to do, and feel a world change around you, a dynamic world!!

Now lets talk about problems and suggestions

DUNGEONS:
We have, alot of wonderfull and different classes, statistics, utility etc etc, but this game will force u to go full berserker, and this is like to have a ferrari and use it only for go to the mountains… i’d like to have dungeon with different requirement, i’d like to see something like support/healer (i know gw2 dont wanna trinity so dont falme about that and go on) a “conditiomancer revenge” a control classes, and ofc the dps…

How to?
For example moa on dry top (i call him road runner :p) need to be cc every X seconds, notchli need to jump or stability etc etc.. some content like that in dungeon (but more focussed) should make the necessity of some different roles but not for boss only!!
Some mechanism could focus dungeons with different way of zerker, and should open a “new world” on the classes, and a general revamp. i have some ideas for make a viable conditioner, i suggest some conditions (bleeding, confusion, torment, burning, poison) should be applyed only if condition dmg is bigger than X, so a pure dps will not stack conditions destroying condition dmg of conditioner, and i think condition is really strong and with this way will found a big spot in pve contents..
Another understadable thing is all those skipping… i understood some content have to, like in ac, but have alot of those skip is orrible, remove this guys if u dont wanna make us fight him, and give us something different (not more jp pls)
And last but non least, all those corner and megadps… should be nice for some bosses, but this corner stuff is everywhere… also the spider queen after patch can be killed on corner, i’ve done alot of time, you just need more dps… like usual…
For solve this problem i suggest when boss is stacked in corner more than 5 second his life will be fulled, so player have to play it normally!!!
i’d like to see also different mechanism, for example someone have to go with mob defending him through the way, so u can use stealth as thief or engi, or u can heal him or tank or kill mobs with other classes, u dont need to fight, u just have to keep him alive, but you can do all that u want!!! this is just an example but you can use your immagination and go on…

i dont wanna make dungeons longer or harder, anet should change something, i’d like to have same timings and same difficulty, but just playing differently, and make viable all classes, with more different setups, now we will have all zerk, and you can just take a look on lfg for see how some classes is needed everywhere and some others will be just kicked everywhere, try to lvl up a necro for example or play a classes differently from the meta (full zerk) and good luck

ENDGAME

I think we dont really have and endgame (like raids in other games), fotm is the closest end game we have and the idea is cool, also mistlock and agony its really nice, but i think we should also need more, maybe more mini dungeon with different mechanism based on level, not just difficulty scaling, but also mechanism change…
I also have another idea, a new kind of dungeon, as endgame, with progression as fotm, with agony and mistlock on higher lvl as fotm, but with different dungeons and requirement, i present to you
“Future of the tyria” a new asura gate that bring you through the future!!! the future of tyria is in danger, and all the heroes is death, so the heros of the past have to save the future!!! the new gw2 endgame, requirement is full ascended gear and personal fotm lvl 40
lvl 1-10 is for 2 ppl only (not 5 ppl) 40ar required
lvl 11-20 for 4 ppl only 60ar required with mystlock
lvl 21-30 for 5 ppl 70 ar required with mystlock
lvl 31-40 for 8 ppl 80ar required with mystlock
lvl 40-60 for 12 ppl 90ar required with mystlock
Ofc this is just an example, but the principal idea is to have something for 2 players not ever 5, and at the end more than 5, a biggest group…

SPVP

I think spvp is just awesome, best mechanics ever!!!
what spvp need? different game mode, like capture the flag, deathmatch, competitive 1v1, 2v2 2 years and nothing changed this is so sad…
have different game mode will also make viable different build based on your role

1. Dungeons

I think there needs the be a happy medium between “mechanics don’t matter” and “you MUST have this group composition”.

Mechanics that can be tackled in different ways, without a set way. If a group is highly co-ordinated, maybe they’ll all want to do every role and time their skills with each other, while a group less certain of themselves might want to allocate specific roles.

For example, the Lover’s fight in AC, if the main mechanic of trying to go nearer to each other come into effect more often.

Players could choose to approach this in different ways:

  • One extremely durable control player keeps one busy, 3 others burst the other down as fast as possible while co-ordinating CC and someone to deal with adds.
  • Two to each boss co-ordinating CC while another gets rid of adds.
  • Two heavy CC characters, three heavy damage dealers.

And so on.

2. Endgame

I disagree with gating content right from the start, especially such a heavy gate. By all means, add achievements and titles and whatnot to the higher levels that require these things, but this would be a massive put-off for people that just want to experience the content and aren’t interested in them things.

Not only that, your idea IS the Fractals, in essence. Lorewise, the Fractals are not only past and present, but also alternate timelines.

My suggestions:
Dungeons:
More of ‘em. I love dungeons. They are cool group content. They don’t need to be harder (that would kill puggers like myself), but I want more 3 path + story dungeons each with unique armor and weapons. I also want boss fights with more mechanics. The Iron Forgeman is my favorite of the dungeon bosses that I’ve tried so far. I want more bosses like him. I also want to see the end of stacking. It prevents players from becoming more skilled and makes dungeons less fun. Some stacking is fine, like stacking inside a Wall of Reflection.
Endgame: MORE SKINS. No gemstore BS unlockable skins that can be found in the Mystic Forge, dropped, or bought with tokens or gold, just give us more. I know it takes time and money to make the skins, but the Adventurer’s Mantle is not endgame. It’s a start, but we need more armor and weapons that can be earned.
Skills: Again, just give us more. The original skills were nice, but they’ve become repetitive. The ones added a while ago were nice, but most of them were underpowered. For my Guardian to replace his healing skill with the new one he’d need to do 40k damage in 6 seconds to match Signet of Resolve.

I dont wanna to be forced to have one kind of composition if classes, but some roles who can make almost everyone, i have 6 char lvl 80 i dont wanna play all max dmg its too boring i’d like to switch for a different gameplay, a different purpose, or if someone wanna use just one char with different sets and build he can do it!!
For the endgame the real point is have something not so easy to reach but also not too difficoult i’ve gave some requirement for this reasons, but the points is to have also with different number of players, i’ve played other game had pve duo (2 players) 5 players and more… i’d like to see this with the mechanism purpose…
Some player write the game is boring, someone else write there is not endgame, others hate corners and zerk, others love it, i just wanna give everythings for all, ;f they dont wanna change dngeons we have its fine for me and for full zerk corner lovers, but they shoukd make with the new area and the new stats someing for all the players like me, isnt too satisfied of the state of the game, LS is funny but for 2 hours, then u understood its just another farming mode and it become repetitive… alot of players love it, others dont, and prefear to play some kind of repetible dungeons/raid as endgame with some skins as reward for example

If you read my post again, I didn’t say dungeons should just be about max damage.

I said that the mechanics of the fight should be done in such a way that there are multiple ways for groups to approach them.

The thing is, 40AR is easy to get. Ascended gear is easy to get. These aren’t difficult things, or there’s no challenging components to it, they’re just time consuming. Time consuming =/= difficult. In short, it’s busywork to artificially extend the life of the game.

There shouldn’t be time gates to the content; the content itself should be the barrier. Can’t get past the content? Then you can’t progress in said content.

You can buy PVT (soldier) gear with Badges of Honor too and facetank all day everyday. With the introduction of new Nomad stats (Toughness, Healing power, Vitality) you can deal even less damage now, check it out! I know, it sounds weird, but the game wont crash nor your hamster get killed if you equip other than Berserker stat gear in PvE.

Also you can try different game modes which completely change both your gaming and gearing experiences.

Also you can unequip skills that exploits makes encounters easier for your team and get totally useless ones. For example get Hallow ground for immersion purposes and roleplay that your pressence can cleanse the land even if you dont need stability at that particular fight.

Also you can make your own LFG with your own rules, so you can get likeminded people in your party. The kick option lets you get rid of unwanted elements too.

Also the lack of sub dont make you feel forced that you need to play GW2 to worth your money which you throw at developers every month. Summer is here, you can go outside with friends or grab another game while you wait for the content to devour.

I enjoy the summer, thanks for take care of me :p
But when the winter will come i’d like to enjoy a complete game with dps, support, condition etc etc not with some “farming patch” i’ve lf other games but the big problems is everyone have big farming endless vertical progression and/or pay4win, i’ve bought gw2 cause is not pay4win and is not a PE ma farming game, you will if u want to, otherwise u can enjoi the contents, problem is this game have alot of potential but they will not use it… if you know other game as i looking for just write and i will stop to write unlistened suggestion (by anet) on this forum

How about droping the game until winter then? Maybe its enough time to clear your mind and realize those thing are already in game you wish for and neither you have to deal with the suggestions, so you wont upset yourself.

No, stuff i ask for is not inside the game, idea i suggest will make game really better (just more think for guys who need it, and nothing change for the others) is not a my problem, alot of ppl have same feelings, just they dont write here…
I know this game very well, i’m adult with a job so i dont play 12hrs per day, i dont need a break for this reason, i dont need a break at all, i just whould like a deeper game as gw2 should be with few modify
