PVE
Thoughts:
Intro:
I think this game have an awesome world and a wonderfull graphics, but the strongest point is classes… alot of classes with alot of potential mechanism!! LS is nice for have some new contents, and something different to do, and feel a world change around you, a dynamic world!!
Now lets talk about problems and suggestions
DUNGEONS:
We have, alot of wonderfull and different classes, statistics, utility etc etc, but this game will force u to go full berserker, and this is like to have a ferrari and use it only for go to the mountains… i’d like to have dungeon with different requirement, i’d like to see something like support/healer (i know gw2 dont wanna trinity so dont falme about that and go on) a “conditiomancer revenge” a control classes, and ofc the dps…
How to?
For example moa on dry top (i call him road runner :p) need to be cc every X seconds, notchli need to jump or stability etc etc.. some content like that in dungeon (but more focussed) should make the necessity of some different roles but not for boss only!!
Some mechanism could focus dungeons with different way of zerker, and should open a “new world” on the classes, and a general revamp. i have some ideas for make a viable conditioner, i suggest some conditions (bleeding, confusion, torment, burning, poison) should be applyed only if condition dmg is bigger than X, so a pure dps will not stack conditions destroying condition dmg of conditioner, and i think condition is really strong and with this way will found a big spot in pve contents..
Another understadable thing is all those skipping… i understood some content have to, like in ac, but have alot of those skip is orrible, remove this guys if u dont wanna make us fight him, and give us something different (not more jp pls)
And last but non least, all those corner and megadps… should be nice for some bosses, but this corner stuff is everywhere… also the spider queen after patch can be killed on corner, i’ve done alot of time, you just need more dps… like usual…
For solve this problem i suggest when boss is stacked in corner more than 5 second his life will be fulled, so player have to play it normally!!!
i’d like to see also different mechanism, for example someone have to go with mob defending him through the way, so u can use stealth as thief or engi, or u can heal him or tank or kill mobs with other classes, u dont need to fight, u just have to keep him alive, but you can do all that u want!!! this is just an example but you can use your immagination and go on…
i dont wanna make dungeons longer or harder, anet should change something, i’d like to have same timings and same difficulty, but just playing differently, and make viable all classes, with more different setups, now we will have all zerk, and you can just take a look on lfg for see how some classes is needed everywhere and some others will be just kicked everywhere, try to lvl up a necro for example or play a classes differently from the meta (full zerk) and good luck
ENDGAME
I think we dont really have and endgame (like raids in other games), fotm is the closest end game we have and the idea is cool, also mistlock and agony its really nice, but i think we should also need more, maybe more mini dungeon with different mechanism based on level, not just difficulty scaling, but also mechanism change…
I also have another idea, a new kind of dungeon, as endgame, with progression as fotm, with agony and mistlock on higher lvl as fotm, but with different dungeons and requirement, i present to you
“Future of the tyria” a new asura gate that bring you through the future!!! the future of tyria is in danger, and all the heroes is death, so the heros of the past have to save the future!!! the new gw2 endgame, requirement is full ascended gear and personal fotm lvl 40
lvl 1-10 is for 2 ppl only (not 5 ppl) 40ar required
lvl 11-20 for 4 ppl only 60ar required with mystlock
lvl 21-30 for 5 ppl 70 ar required with mystlock
lvl 31-40 for 8 ppl 80ar required with mystlock
lvl 40-60 for 12 ppl 90ar required with mystlock
Ofc this is just an example, but the principal idea is to have something for 2 players not ever 5, and at the end more than 5, a biggest group…
SPVP
I think spvp is just awesome, best mechanics ever!!!
what spvp need? different game mode, like capture the flag, deathmatch, competitive 1v1, 2v2 2 years and nothing changed this is so sad…
have different game mode will also make viable different build based on your role
