Thanks arenanet

Firstly we arent even that small of a guild, got 40 members with 10 serious players and the rest casual/inactive. We are 20k away from unlocking guild bounties (already got art of war tier 5). Now people suggested that smaller guilds should merge to pool up influences together but everytime I post on mapchat trying to recruit new members some kitten from a guild with 250+ members decides to post 2 seconds after me claiming to have all the influence ready to go and events unlocked. I mean what the kitten arenanet did you not think of this before you released the update?

My guild is pretty much dead, i cant offer anyone anything without influence and i can’t get influence if i cant offer anyone anything to stay in the guild. Probably the worst guild system ive seen in any MMORPG. They should remove the multi-guild feature to maintain integrity.

Wait it out. There is a rush for guild missions now since they’re new, in a couple of weeks they won’t be and things will settle down. Smaller guilds with an active player base are more fun to be in than large ones where you’re just another face in the crowd.

People forget that when you wave shinies in front of their face, but once the novelty wears off, they’ll remember.

I run a 5-man casual guild, a close knit group of IRL friends (my wife included). There is no way we could ever get enough influence without weeks of farming and/or weeks of manipulating the market for 8 hours a day so we could buy influence. Or, we could just lay down cold hard cash and convert gems to gold and gold to influence… But seriously, where’s the fun and/or sense in that?

These missions are not accessible to small guilds and simply marginalize the casual guildie.

Agreed, small guilds don’t stand a chanse, atleast give us a weapon if we are going into battle.
