so i killed the golem today and the boss chest didn’t drop, even though i got the bonus account chest.

i even triple checked my mini-map and map to look for the chest icon, and it wasn’t there.

did they remove the chest from it? i really wanted those dragonite ores…

Had you already killed it during the same reset period?

Also make sure you don’t park the same character at one event all the time. It will hit DR after several days of only doing that event and not leaving the zone.

I have experienced this, from time to time. It’s happened to me a couple of times at Inquest Golem, once at (new) Shatterer and many times at Maw, which seems to be the worst one for this.

Now I’ve got permanent auto-loot I have to be careful and check, but having auto-loot doesn’t fix the issue, sometimes you just don’t get the chest (except for the bonus one). About a week or so ago I was at Maw, and afterwards maybe 3 or 4 people were hanging round saying they didn’t get the chest. All I could say to them was, it happens sometimes, nothing you can do about it

Well there is auto loot, not doing enough dps, but the dr is not a thing. Chances are you can’t loot the the chest because you already did it previously in the same period, or auto looted.

DR can/does affect event loot like that.

If you never logged out and sat there 24/7 and only did that fight, then perhaps it could.... but normally you won’t see dr.

Even then it can. Back when teq was a 2 hour spawn, I used to do 4-5 teqs a day. After about a week, I’d stop getting anything better than the fine chest (and exotic for the first run of the day). Mind you, this was also interspersed with fractals, dungeons, and other random crap.
