I had my suspicions they didn’t drop before the preview.. now its confirmed..

So deldrimor ingots, elonian leather, and bolts of damask can drop in fractals.
Why is spiritwood not in the drop table for the daily chests?

Because its not used in armor crafting.

did you realize that i already answered that twice?
They wanted to bring down the general price for asc armorcrafting and spiritwood isnt needed for asc armor.

Given that the four ascended mats have a low drop rate and that Damask isn’t worth significantly more than Spiritwood, I’d prefer that ANet adapt to changed circumstances.

• Drop all four mats or
• Only drop leather & cloth (since those are used for patches and thus universal for armor) or
• Forget trying to use something with a tiny drop rate to ‘balance’ costs and increase the rate on something else (e.g. junk/coin).

Just giving players more coin to earn wont make more spiritwood available.
