none targeting combat system
It’s never going to happen. For one thing, a lot of us would leave the game if they made that change. If I wanted to play an FPS I’d play an FPS.
For me, that’d make combat extremely difficult – my dexterity is, like, -100

In PvE you may think it’s great, now think about WvW, a zerg fight for instance, you may change your mind.
well some games help u to use spells like if u r in a combo chain or if u prgrammed it before after u stuned target use x then u can press a key and use that 1 all u need to do is aim and now that we only have 5 abilites for use in combat for each weapons i dont think its much harder than before but again i was just asking , also what is going on with fps ? O_o i was talkinga bout other rpgs like console rpgs wich u actualy have to press a key to hit , well i belive for archers there can be soemthing like auto locking or idk atleast u shoot around the target and it counts , also i was thinking about pve XD and come on i played some mmos in first time they look abit out of control in pvp but after a while it gets realy nice , also u wouldnt realy need to -100 this post >.> , so back to the main question ! is it possible ? :P

seems to like its really a design decision is the only thing stopping them from doing that. I mean the systems are all there. Melee attacks damage everyone they hit. Projectiles only do damage if they hit the target. Projectile fire in the direction they’re aimed (unless something is targeted or in range to be auto targeted)
I dont know how their software works so it may be that I am completely wrong but to me it seems all that would need to be done to achieve that is simply disable targeting, tie left mouse button to skill 1 and place a reticule in the middle of the screen.
There is this mod that makes the game behave how you want. I’m not sure if it’s allowed or not, do a search on combat mods for GW2 and you will find something.
