trying to link a gif here, first time trying it here on this forums. Ive tried to imbed html and bbcode, but my post keeps showing the text links instead of the image itself, any pointer as to how to properly do it, or a thread post tutorial on it? Thanks!

Just paste the link, bookah. It’ll turn into a link automatically.

If you copy the picture to your computer and then attach it, it’ll work.
If the option doesn’t come up right away, just hit [More posting & formatting options] and it should show the attachment button.

It will allow you to upload pictures even if you don’t register. Then it’ll give you a link which you can post. It’s all free.

will it show the picture in the thread or just the hypertext blue linking?

I would guess it works like loading in any image, though I’ve never inflicted a gif on these forums that I can recall.

Type your text, look at the bottom for the red button “More posting & formatting options…” and click that. Scroll down to the bottom and click the Browse button. That brings up a directory of files on your computer. If you’ve saved the image or gif to your computer, all you need to is select the file. Then it will appear as a thumbnail in your post that can be clicked to expand to a full image.

If you need more than one (please don’t do multiple flashy gifs, think of the people browsing forums on their phones!) then you hit Preview instead of Reply, scroll to the bottom, and do Browse again to add another.
