Hi all I’m just curious as me and a guildy have been debating what the percentage of active (within the last 2 months) players have a fractal weapon skin. he says only 10% of the population i say its more near 25% and I’m curious as to how we would go about figuring this out and what the actually percentage is. thanks everyone that helps or add’s input.

I think Wanze is prob closest. There is no way of figuring it out, but instances/dungeons etc are usually done by a low proportion of a community compared to other areas of a game. Skins aren’t particularly forthcoming, so yeah under 5% sounds right to me.

i have 344 fractals done, frac lvl 31

yesterday i had done fractals the first time in about a month, i got the harpoon skin and my main is ele :/

I’m playing the game since launch, ive played 255 fractals in total and i got some skins:

Fractal longbow (twice… :/ )
Fractal gun
Fractal Spear gun
Fractal Hammer
Fractal shield

I don’t know or i’m lucky that much or not… However Anet need to bring in a system that can exchange a fractal skin you already have for another skins.

you sound lucky, but maybe you spent a higher % of your fractal amounts at higher tiers.

I have the GS and LB and haven’t done fractals since they updated it over a year ago.

350 fractals done so far, 0 fractal skins.

I haven’t done Fractals 1 yet after 2+ years.

you need to do high level fractal to have a good chance of drop (31-50)

You should average 1 skin every 5 day if you do both 38 and 50.

It’s really hard to complete the collection though, as you get closer to completion you get many duplicate.

Screw drops. I want to get them with fractal relics + coin. I don’t care for RNG rewards.

At the very least the first set of fractals you do at level 50 after you reach level 50 should give you a box that let you pick the skin you want.

Got bored of fractals by 8, but I don’t do dungeons much. I like open world and pvp.

I got a fractal longbow on my first fractal over 10, im currently sitting at 14 and don’t plan on going in again unless I have to….I rarely ever do dungeons/fractals

Back when I used to do fractals before the fractal update months ago (before they added the newer fractals), I’d regularly do fractals scale 28, 38 and 48. There was a period of time where I’d run all 3 on a daily basis and I think I averaged a fractal skin every other day at the time. Scale 48 and even 38 seemed to have a fairly decent drop rate from what I remember. I don’t know if the update changed the drop rates though, I haven’t done fractals since then.

Closer to 0% than to 100%, I would guess.

I used to farm it before the revamp and never went back.

Probably less than there are people with Legendary greatswords and more than there are people with Infinite Light .

Gonna agree that both of your numbers are high. I don’t even know what my fractal level is anymore, but I know it’s under 10. I haven’t done one since shortly after they first came out.

I have zero idea how you would find this out, but a first step is estimating how much of the population even does fractals.

I’m missing: GS, warhorn, torch, harpoon gun. I have all the other fractal skins and I’ve gotten just about all of the Fractal skins from lvls 19, 29, 38. I get my ascended chests from 38 or 49/50.

Ah. Yes.. That is different. My sincerest apologies as I thought you were intentionally trolling. The fractal skins are a specific set of weapon skins that you can only get as a reward at the end of the fractal from the “wiggley chest” (above the mini map). They do not drop.

Not that many fractals done but I have the fractal staff skin. 100-200 most maybe for the runs, which are under 40.

There is nothing I like better than 1 hit kills and jumping, take a guess at the number of fractal skins I have. Tried them a few times, still didn’t like them, went back to other things.

Probably under 1% of all active players have fractal skins. Only few players do fractals at all, fewer do this regularly, and even fewer do this on levels above 10. Not counting the low droprate.

after 500 fractals my achie stopped increasing. im looking at 900 + anyway most of the skins I have are from the old fractals (I actually had 2-3 of some and ended up salvaging them for ectos (but always kept one just incase) )

run 50 daily and got the short bow + focus in feb

I haven’t done a lot of fractals, my personal reward level is only 15. So no, I don’t have one.

450 fractals run, 90% of them 50 and 40. Only have the trident and rifle.
