You can use custom exchange to buy what you need?
Go back to the old style gold to gems when we could buy how ever many gems we wanted to! This new style where u have to buy this many to get this many isn’t good!
You must go back!
Choose customer exchange.
The old exchange was better. The new exchange rounds to the nearest gold. In the old system if I had 803 gems and wanted to round it down to a even 800 for OCD sake. I could put in 3 gems and get the exact exchange in silver.

I’ve yet to understand why ANet is screwing over its paying customers this way. If the gold→gem conversion is intended to entice us with higher and higher values of gold in gem→gold conversions, stop rounding it down.
And as a major UI criticism, who converts gems to gold based on the amount of gold they want? None that I know of. Sellers plan around the gems they have to sell.

it seems many like them better than the games they comment on.” -Horrorscope.7632

It’s screwed up both ways for me. When I’m converting gold to gems each week, I have X amount of gold and I’m trying to get as many gems as I can. I have to do the math first to see how many gems my X amount of gold will buy, then go up or down on that stupid defective panel, which keeps changing the first number of gems to a 1 and won’t let you easily backspace through that one. If you want not 400 but 273, it first makes the number of gems 1273 and you have to get rid of that one.
ANet may give it to you.

I hear you. It’s actually worse as it truncates. What’s wrong asking to buy 100 gold and get 100 gold and change when we have to pay down to the copper for gems.
RIP City of Heroes

You can highlight what is in those boxes and just type in what you want, it will replace everything highlighted with the new numbers you type in.

K. I’ll try that. Ty.
ANet may give it to you.
