only bored
lol, cool cool.
Personally, I don’t think there’s longevity in playing only one game at a time. If things are getting bleak for you, take a break and come back when you feel it’ll be fresh for you again.
For a n=1 example, I spent the last 2 years completely ignoring the Personal Story after i’d done it a few too many times, even though narrative is one of my favorite things to explore in a MMO. Now, I’m going through all the various personal story options I can, and it’s like I’m going through it for the first time. It’s great! So, maybe check out some of the stuff you got sick of at one point, but haven’t played in a really long time?
I’m not saying abandon GW2 (I love GW2, so I’d never say that!!!), but definitely look at some other games to play to mix things up. It’ll keep you from inadvertently binging and becoming sick of just one thing.

edit: also, there’s always an influx (or trickle) of new players… so, one way of making fresh the old content you might not have touched in a very long time would be to show some newbies the ropes.

You are not the only person that is bored, its echo’d across the game, bar from a few groups of people,
I took a month off from this game, and came back today, figured id go check out the HoT maps, WHAM all of them dead, followed by WvW which is still dead, the list goes on, long story I logged out, the game is now officially boring, I have no reason at all, to recommend this game to any of my friends/ family, there are just better games where the developers are rolling content into them,
For all those who say well GW2 is a free to play game you can come and go as you like, im fairly sure that Anet do not want a game that people remember as a OMG its so boring just log in for 5 mins and log out as there is nothing to do,
Its pretty clear from that "AMA "(we’ll call it damage limitation which usually happens when a high level dev leaves) that they have no idea what way they want the game to go, they push things out and when they don’t work they have no back up plan, Its like they hope and pray that it will resolve itself if they ignore it long enough,
There is no one at Anet that would put there job on the line and say they can fix WvW, because lets face it, it doesn’t take a programmer to see a dead format, the nail was 100% well and truly hammered into that,
Follow that up by taking there little pet project sPvP e-Sports, season 2 is a disaster just go read the sPvP forums, and there reply to it was, yea we know, we will look into it for season 3, LOL REALLY, your game formats are losing players everyday and you want to fix it in 3 months,
The question shouldn’t be, are there other games out there you can be playing, the question is more, is this game even going to be worth coming back to, because lets face it with so many groups of players being ignored now, why would they want to come back, sadly GW is slipping into oblivion and all but the ultra hardcore fans can see it, ( or maybe they can see it but don’t want to believe it )
Things should pick up when Living World returns, but yeah . . . I feel you. Right now, I’m logging in, doing my dailies, and then logging right back off to play something else.
Threads like this, the responses above, and my experiences tell me I’m not alone, but you wouldn’t believe the backlash I’ve gotten for stating my opinion as well.
I really hope they return to the way the game was beforehand. Otherwise, what Ok I Did It said . . . sadly.
