Will the permanent gathering tools always be best in class?

Unless they start adding t8 stuff at some point … yes for the foreseeable future. The t7 material won’t be gatherable.

Thanks, I sure hope they do not add anymore, 800gems per tool is expensive and to purchase new tools if they change would be horrible.
