Q:

I was going through the pets for the ranger and thought of a few suggestions this can be modified by developers. I was thinking that while the pet’s UI was being worked on the pets could be separated into classes, such as Cat, dogs, amphibians, etc…. then I noticed that the Alpine stalker is one of the only cats not in the list of feline pets. Also I thought that Aquatic pets should stay aquatic not have land pets become aquatic. and I also thought that a dolphin would make a nice addition and one of it’s traits could be stealth for 3 sec. it makes you and you pet invisible while protecting you and your pet, with a 60 second cool down period.
The classes of pets would be limited. and once a category of pets has been leveled the player moves to the next category of pets. in order to do this all pets in game would have to open to players however the player chooses which category to level and does not move to the next category until all pets are leveled.once all categories are completed then the player would receive achievement points and title pet collector.
Also the chance for rare pets would come with the living world content from here on out. with each living world content 3 exclusive pets would be given if the player has chosen to participate in the living world content. once all 3 are collected an achievement point would be given and go toward world completion.

One thing I wish they would add is a pet that can apply Torment.

I just wish you could choose whether to use a pet or not. In GW1, they were an option. Not at all in GW2.
