Ok, so I had a norn guardian with ascended armor which I had transmuted to be stag armor.

I decided that I would level a human guardian as I wanted her to be slightly smaller, as such I started levelling a human guardian and as I got near to level 80 moved the ascended armor across and deleted and norn guardian.

Now my human guardian is level 80 and I went to place the ascended armor on her assuming it would just change to teir 3 human cultural armor rather than the stag armor. It didn’t and now I can’t equip it as I’m not norn.

I hope this makes sense, is there anyone than can make a suggestion as to how I get round this without having to level a norn guardian to put the armor on there, transmute it and then more it back to the human? I really hope there is.

You could try contacting support to see if there’s any way they could help. But other than that, the only thing you can do is level another norn to level 80, transmute to a non-cultural skin, and then put it on your human.

When you do the new forge recipe, it comes back as the ascended skin – not the one you transmuted to. This would probably work, but you’d have to forge it twice. One to get it off stag skin, and a 2nd to get it back to the stats you want.

Edit: You might be able to do it once actually. You could use the insignia of that stat you already have. I’m unsure if the recipe blocks switching it to the stat it already is.

Put it back into your norn and transmutate the skin into something universal. I would use hall of monument skins or AP skins since they are free to apply, move it back onto your human and transmutate to whatever you like

Edit: I just realized you deleted your norn. I would contact support it go the slightly more expensive rout of using the mystic forge as mentioned above.

True, I hadn’t considered the forging option. I’d assume you could indeed still forge them on your human. But yeah, that’d require making six inscriptions, an additional 5 ectos per piece transmuted, and then the spirit shards. It’d be a case of which option is more worth it.
