can we get a agrithom or something to make the nerf to healing power not so bad… this is why we cant really bunk in spvp.. that or make it less effective….between the classes and the sigils u be lucky to not have poison on u.

so what im suggestion is either
A. reduce the nerf to healing power.
B. have it so the higher the healing power the less nerf u get to poison. so like if ur in cleric amulet u will only have a 15% nerf and with ur actually healing power u be able to bunk like u should
C. have poison stack in intestiny .. so healing reduction can be 5-33% depending on intesity so i match all other condi except burning

When fighting with conditions the destruction of the healing capability is essential. In fact while fighting with DPS the added functionality of healing reduction could also benefit you a lot…. and you will not bunker as all conditions fully ignore armor. They are hardcounter vs tank(y/s)

the thing is i dont really mine poison in general but when they add the poison sigil about every zerk or condi spec will use that sigil and if they dont have poison i might have 2 second until i proc again.. so its why it need to be change…if it on a class that has poison its pretty much perma posion.
my cleric ele can handle condi but not as tanky
and gaurd is tanky as can be but poison can turn the tide out of my favor. i can go 3v1 for 30secs unless poison is applied after i clense it then it goes down to like 10 if not less

Sorry you can’t compete with the meta…?

I don’t see any issues with poison as it’s one of the more lesser conditions for me to worry about. Mesmers tear me apart with confusion if Im not careful, but it’s a hard counter to my particular playstyle, however most other conditions are not. If you notice a lot of conditions flying and you can’t deal with it, play a class that can or a class/build that counters it. SPVP is all about counters. Yeah there are classes that can 5 v 1 but it’s always hilarious seeing a thief one shot them from stealth. Is that unfair?

Poison:
Deals damage every second; heal potency decreased by 33%; stacks duration.

Poison is a condition that inflicts damage over time and stacks in duration. However, there is a cap at 9 stacks for this condition, meaning that the duration for this condition will only be increased by the first 9 sources that apply it, and all stacks that would normally increase the duration beyond the first 9 stacks will be ignored. Once the duration from the first application of poison has run out, another stack can be applied, further increasing the duration of poison. Characters suffering from poison appear green tinted. Damage is determined by the following formula:

4 + Level + (0.1 * Condition Damage) per second
84 + (0.1 * Condition Damage) per second at Level 80

Spvp is a total waste of time. Why do you think vast majority of the entire game avoids it? Have you ever done unranked lately? It has such a massive crapshoot of a rating system because there just isn’t anyone that does it. Nobody does it cause balance is a total kittening crapshoot. If they increased all spvp to 8v8 then it may bring some life into team builds and not be the same old meta crap.

yea its why im trying to change something in pvp they will benefit the origanol idea of support dps control… and since a bunker gaurd is support… it changing poison to be diffrent or give us stats on gear so we dont have to do cookie cutter builds with stats

I was wondering myself. When did healing get nerfed? If nothing else, I’d love to see a huge BOOST to healing and regeneration. It’s quite lacking right now compared to burst damage builds.

Healing never got nerfed, as far as I know that poison aspect was in since the beginning. If it was added later I don’t remember. Though the benefit of healing bonus is very very small. So small it makes it useless in pvp, as you’re giving up offense stats. You can just use say a celestial Elementalist and they have great healing capabilities and great defense and great offense. Gee I wonder why you see a royal ton of celestial ele’s out there, maybe because they provide best of all worlds really.

That said, meta is bullkitten. It’s not a thing and it doesn’t revolve around the current most powerful. Meta is just the most popular. Boon stripping and condi cleanse are extremely powerful in spvp right now, as power condi builds are seeing a large revival to counter celestial engi’s and eles.
