Ok do precurser weapons still spawn in the jumping puzzle chests as pre the GW2 wiki (there are a few errors i have found there so was wondering)

I have been doing 10 to 14 of them daily with 3 to 4 characters now for a month or so and was just curious if I am wasting my time.

I know that if the numbers are to be trusted the chance of getting one MIGHT be low enough that i AM more likely to be hit by lightning out of a clear blue sky and yet it is better little chance to almost no chance..

also does magic find effect jump puzzle chests does anyone know?

Magic Find only affects monster drops, PvP chests, and possibly the SW chests.

Precursors supposedly drop from everything and people have claimed to have gotten them from jp chests. The thing that you have to realize is that the drop rate is incredibly low.

Yes the chance is incredibly low. About the same as the chance of getting one as a random drop from a level 80 enemy I think.

Also, this might not be an issue, but jumping puzzle rewards scale to your level, and precursors are all level 80 exotics, so you have to be doing it on a character who is at (or very close to) level 80 to have a chance.
