question about gem store armor skins
Should have access to the skin through the wardrobe tab if the skins unlocked
how do u unlock a skin that was purchased in the gem store?
Once you purchase the skin it should be sent to you by mail click and it will be in your inventory (i) and not your bank. In your inventory double click the skin and it will unlock in your wardrobe. In the wardrobe tab you can now click the new skin to use it on any armor you put on.
You should receive one set of the skin(s) to apply to your current armor at no extra charge (transmutation charge), as well.
Check your mail, and then your inventory.

hmm, i hope i didnt accidently delete it. if i did accidently delete the mail, how do i get them to send me another one?
Check your bank too. If you had the bank tab open at the time that you double clicked the skin then instead of unlocking the skin it put it back in the bank.
Just something to check.
Sorrows Furnace
Incarnate is light armor, so you cant put it on medium or heavy. That might be the issue.
i wasnt near the bank when i bought it but i went to the bank and it shows the incarnate skin but its shaded out instead of being available to click on

OR right click (I think) and Add to Wardrobe. This uses up the skin without changing any armor and puts it in the Wardrobe for later use via transmute charges.
I don’t know if you could have deleted a mail containing items without a warning message because I never do that, I am obsessive about not deleting things or alts until I’ve stripped them bare of everything.
Anyway, retrace your steps in light of the above process and see if you find where your skin set went.

i might have to do that when i get home tonight. im actually at work atm unless there is a mobile app to where i can access my stuff?
Well, you can see every skin in the game from the bank guy if you chose to peruse the Wardrobe.
To determine if you have the skins in your possession, it would need to be known exactly where in the bank these ‘greyed-out’ skins are. =)

thanks man, i went ahead and submitted a request to the cs team and let them know what might have happened. when i get home tonight, im going to check again and make sure i just didnt overlook them. Im still waiting to see what they will say. how long do they take to get back to you and how do they communicate?
You should almost immediately receive a response (‘Thank you for submitting your request…’) to the web-form email you send. Later, another email addressing your specific issue will arrive. (Be sure to check spam/junk folders.) The CS Team allows themselves 72 hours to initially address your concerns. If you have had no response within that time period, after the 72 hours you can post your ticket number in the Sticky found in the Tech/Account sub-forum, ‘Tickets for Review 3 Days and Older’.

Did you get a container in the mail after you bought the armor?
When I bought armor I got a container. Clicking on it gave me a full set of skins to apply to armor. Did you ever get that?

Well, I wouldn’t buy right way. Give them a couple of days to look it over and see what happened. If it disappeared they can send you another.

How long ago did you make your ticket? The first auto response should be fast, but sometimes can take longer.

i submitted a ticket request this morning. this was several hours ago and i still havent heard from them yet. not even the confirmation that my request was sent.

If you haven’t already, read this site and look for problems: Problems receiving Guild Wars 2 emails.
Other than that, normally it’s fast but it’s always possible it’s hung up somewhere in transit. Give it at least 24 hours.
