the description says it requires 6 people, but is it ok if i use 5 of my chars and a kinnie does the 6th , or does it need 6 different people at the same time online to be finished?

The guild puzzles will require coordination that REQUIRES multiple people to do the task at hand in the time allotted. I’d say the bare minimum is 4, as there are pressure plates that requires four people to step on in both Guild Puzzles or other tasks requiring that minimum number of people, but even THAT would be pushing the limits on the timing.
