hey guys

i just saw the new saying can get 5 free transmutation charges tomorrow. i want to ask a few question.

1,what transmutation stone and crystal will become after 15/04

2,if transmute legendary weapon will cost lot more?

3, so transmute legendary weapon just a skin right? so its that mean could possible have exotic stats with legendary skin.

1. The Stones exchange at 3 stones per charge. Crystals are 1 to 1. (let me know if i got these backwards, its the >80 3/1 and the lvl 80 1/1)

3. Yes, the original legendary will still have its stat changing ability, but you can add the skin to a new weapon from the wardrobe panel.

1) Current stones, crystals, and splitters can be converted to the new charges.
(type : charge)
3:1 for stones
1:1 for crystals
1:5 for splitters

2) All transmutations cost 1 charge, regardless of whether it’s a lowly white or a shiny purple

3) Yes, transmuting only puts the skin onto the item, so you’ll have whatever stats the base item you’re using has. You’re just “upgrading” it appearance. Kind of the same way women do when they slather on loads of makeup….

You will be able to interact with your Stones, Crystals and Splitters to convert them into Charges manually. Otherwise, nothing will happen with those in your possession.

One Charge per Transmutation, regardless of rarity. Some items will be free of Transmutation Charge fees. (AP gear, HoM gear, Outfits, etc.)

Yes, you will only be transmuting the skin, just as before.

So pvp only armor will become pve skins?

Indeed. They will become both.

btw is it backpack become skin as well?
what about Fotm’s backpack ( as i know, on PvP atm dont have Fotm’s backpack)

I haven’t seen a direct statement about back pieces, but I remember Anet said your LS rewards are in the wardrobe. Seeing as there are more than a couple LS related back pieces I would imagine that would include all back skins.

From what we know, their looks (skin) will end up in Wardrobe. The backpacks themselves (items with stats) will remain as they are.

Is there a way to get transmutation stones post patch- I have an even not an odd number of them so some are wasted on not being able to be turned into charges
