hello guys! im new in this game and i dont know how to play very well yet, and i dont know what class i should start,
so i want to request a list in order of strongest, both in Pve and Pvp. (besides im a pve player most of time xD)

Your best bet is to try out the professions and choose the one YOU like the best. Anyone on the forum will probably nominate their own favorite. You can try them all out at level 80 in the Mists. (Little crossed swords at the top of your in-game screen.)

There’s no contest for PvE. Warrior is stupid-easy-mode. For PvP, it’s a bit of a tougher call. WvW zerg warfare it’s warrior/guardian/necro. WvW roaming is thief, no contest. The 5v5 PvP, someone else would have to weigh in on, since I avoid it.

I think people like this make these threads only to see someone responding “Warrior”. Then, they’re satisfied about revealing obvious truth and can feel proud if it. Seriously, take a look at 50% of threads over the forum before you post. They all contain same topic, same arguments, same people and same conclusions.

Topics like this only further increase level of QQ on these forums.

For PvE, warrior is probably the most solid pick. Highest base HP and armour, strong offensive buffs (banners, shouts, easy access to fire fields and blast finishers) and good damage. If you want to go higher DPS at the cost of survivability and some utility, elementalist or thief are good picks. Eles can deal about ~100,000 damage per second versus the 12-16,000 damage of warriors/thieves.

While Eles are higher DPS, claiming it because of the FGS oversight is ridiculous. Its already been said when it first surfaced its looking to be changed. State the actual DPS of the Staff 2,2,2,2,2,2,2,2 build rather than the 3s burst of the FGS.
