reskins again
I think people would complain just as badly, if not more, if you had an exclusive skin tied to an exclusive stat. Skins and stats are not closely related in GW2. The expectation is that you reskin your gear once you get the stats you want.
But sure, I would enjoy more in-game skins to earn. The amount of gem store vs in-game skins is badly disproportionate.
You mean the set that is simply another Ascended stat-set? And as such use the exact same system as the other Ascended pieces?
I would say that is actually a rather good thing. Can you imagine how much rage we would have if all of a sudden a specific stat-set had a completely new and unique skin and as such “forced” people into either using those stats or getting Transmutation Charges?

well tying an adorable skin to a stat-set only few people want would bring in some money for Anet since people would have to use transmutation charges. But why should you complain, a new skin is now available through the game – like so many desire.
People who want that skin could craft the exotic version and/or the ascended version. I would have no problem if the asc. version would have an exclusive effect though (like the mistforged weapons).

Since when has a new STAT combo EVER been related to the item’s skin (especially crafted ones)? If this is just a complaint about Gem Store items, there are plenty of other threads on this forum whining about having to pay for BLING…..

It’s a nice idea in general, but would set a precedence. There is simply no armour skin tied to a stat combination. The closest we have to that would be ascended weapon colours based on stat combo.
“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”
Will I craft anything from the new vendor? No, because I don’t want to have gear with no offensive stat on it.
Would I have crafted something if it were a new skin. Depends on the skin, but probably yes, at least just to unlock it in the wardrobe.
