Right now primary stats (such as power, vita, defense…) and secondary stats (condition damage and healing power) are scaled the same in weapon/armor stat combo. For example, a stat combo with healing power as major (cleric, maji) have the same stat value as power as a major stat in berzerker. I don’t think that’s reasonable, seeing secondary stats don’t affect the character as powerfully as any of the primary stats. Same goes for major condition stat damage vs. major power stat. I’d say any secondary stats in any set of armor should be scaled more, like 20% or so.
Changing how much of a stat you get on a piece of gear doesn’t address the real issue now does it?
Healing power sucks compared to Power? Fix Healing Power, don’t double down on how much of the stat you get, double down on how effective the stat is.
The way the game currently is, even if we would get double the healing power (using your example) it wouldn’t be as useful or desirable than power or even cond damage.
The problem isn’t the amount of certain stats, it is the mechanic of some stats.
