It’s strange on how that doesn’t exist.

for there you have been and there you will long to return.

Master Crafter

…i guess they feel that the scroll that levels you to 20 was enough to boost character slot sales without having to add an achievement for having all professions at level 80.

I love playing lots of alts and currently working on having two 80s (different races) of each profession. It’s fun but seems like they want to discourage having alts that you play a lot.

Master Crafter can be done with one character.

There are achievements for finishing the personal stories from each of the races. With 5 slots and 5 races this encourages players to at least try a toon of every type.

Having something for the professions would be nice in addition to this though. Maybe 8 lvl 80’s giving some achievement points and maybe a title. We need more meta related achievements with titles.

If you learn to stop worrying and love your exotics, alting is just easy.

Isn’t that the whole point of alts. Lvl 80 isn’t the goal, nor is BiS gear. Rather, it’s the journey that defines an altoholic.

Crafting. With a lvl 20 booster and some 30g you can make every character into the seventies in less than an hour. Completing Queensdale takes about 30 minutes which should take you to 80 in no time.

- Separate fractal progression
- Separate WvW levels
- Time gating on ascended jewelery
- Ascended weapon cost
- Ascended gear coming out (assumable) this year
- Lack of economical reason to do low lvl areas (that has been addressed to the degree)
- Strange birthday booster ( up to lvl 20 instead of plus 20 lvls)

Yes, we altoholics could use a little bit of love…

but, against all odds, we still live and (somehow) prosper
