I didn’t see anyone bring it up yet, and WP hasn’t discussed it yet, either.
I take it this is a little foreshadowing on the current events, that we are able
to see magical instabilities in the world.

I’m convinced this blue fire is from the same source as the concentrated magics,
as well as the anomalies, but I have to question.. what is it.. and why is it blue?

It’s already interesting that it’s a blue flame, rather than a rainbow flame like
all other sources of magic appeared to us so far.
TBH, I don’t really know what to make of it, to the best of my knowledge it looks
like the same mistfire that the Guardians wield, or the raw fire from the Mists.

I really enjoyed this hidden achievement/puzzle.

Like the OP I was instantly curious about the blue fire but I guess I’m a bit of a pyromaniac because my first thought was “Is the fire actually there? Can it burn stuff?”, and well…the nearest (interactive) flammable object happened to be a stick.

I have to admit someone did have to give me a hint on where to take my newly acquired torch, but it was really fun watching events unfold from there. The name of the achievement was also a nice surprise, I really like that poem.
