so the problem is, its my first ever ascended drop and i was happy, until i realised the stats are settler only, i am playing on warrior so settler doesn’t spec well

what class can use settler well and what weapon do they use it well on.
i pref pve not a fan of wvw but never gave it much of a go might start.

Is it the skin you like or the stats? You can craft/buy the exotic weapon for it’s stats and apply the new skin if that is your primary concern.

To get the ascended stats you want you will need to craft one yourself.

Settlers would be OK for a Necro, especially on a staff, but that would make for a very tough necro assuming your armor had toughness as well.

I have used the successfully on my ele, but not as a full set. It’s not an optimal or “meta” build, but it works for how I want to play my ele.

Should just be happy that you got anything that’s not a spoon or rune.

Settler’s aren’t so bad on a regen/condition warrior. And just cause condition warriors aren’t the meta, doesn’t mean they aren’t a thing or not good.

But they would be overpowered on guardians so you could just use it on your warrior now, and move it on to another character later.

its not the skin or the stats, its more that its ascended so i want the agony infusion slots for fracs, the skins ok and i dislike the stats due to me having no tank condo class only warrior at 80

I’d reskin in onto a zerk stat weapon if I were you. It’s quite sad that anet doesn’t let us choose between more stat sets for ascended chest drops, at least you’d think that, as their manifesto was against RNG gating content …

I don’t think any profession can really use settler well because it doesn’t provide alot of damage.

Could always make an underwater weapon from it

This was pretty much why I gave up on caring about ascended drops from Teq and Triple Wurm. None of the stat options work for anything that I’m running or would ever run in the future.

yes its quite annoying, hmm underwater weapon, will i use all of settlers stats in my underwater weapon ?
