I know this is an MMO, and that most endgame content will be in fact group content. I?m not against group content, but sometimes I want to go solo. what can I do solo in regards to endgame content?
for map events and stuff like that, I consider them group events, because even though a real party is not needed, you can’t do most map bosses on your own.
so I’d love to know what I can do when I?m on the lonewolf blues.

Besides farming for things you want, I suppose you can grind achievements (jump puzzles and such), do map completion, or level up alts.

I consider myself a solo player and I take part in just about all group events because not doing so is very, very limiting to my game play. If you don’t want to see anyone else around then gathering and jumping puzzles and story instances are pretty much it.

There are several dungeons that can be soloed with high enough skill levels.

If you want things you can do without joining a group then that’s pretty much everything outside of dungeons, Fractals and PvP.

If you want things where you can guarantee you’ll be alone, with no other players doing the same event or whatever at the same time you are then you’re going to be a lot more limited because that goes against the whole design of the game. Even with events that can be done solo there is nothing to discourage other people from joining in, and a lot of things to encourage them to do so. Which means even if you start it on your own people are likely to show up and start participating.

The Personal Story and instanced parts of the HoT and Living World stories are the only times you can’t have other players joining in. And most jumping puzzles, mini dungeons and to a lesser extent hearts other people’s participation won’t help you, so you can ignore them even if they’re around.

Just go kill champions. That’s what I do; hunt yourself some big game.
