im sure its been asked before. i skimmed through and didnt see anything. we keep gaining exp and levels at 80, though it does absolutely nothing. i like rift’s system because it doesnt give you a huge buff by anyways but its a little something to work towards. in d3, you gain gold find and magic find in very small incriments. maybe even some sort of realm rank system like in daoc?

i know we arent supposed to be grinding here but once you hit 80 and have full exotics, you literally have nothing to work towards. other than legendaries, which i can appreciate, but its never going to happen for me. and im fine with that. thankfully the game is alot of fun to play. but even some sort of tiny something that still happens in the background would be nice. some sort of meaningless rank that you level up, AA, whatever. i just feel like something “else” could be happening, especially in WvWvW.

You get skill points for every level after 80. You can spend the skill points to buy mystic forge components.

hmm. guess i didnt realize that.

i guess my point is more towards pvp (wvw). even if it was just some sort of “rank” that had no stats or anything attached to it. just a number. or like d3 where your character portrait upgrades. something thats totally unnecessary but is there so you atleast feel like something is happening.
