Everyone who want to comment about their opinion of how bots are ruining guild war economy should be free to do it. Some may even post some solutions to the problem.
As a fact ive played a couple of games who made efective anti bot systems and not everything posted on forums are critics

1. There was a feature that every 15-20 minutes a player get a message where they had to pair a matching color changing icon on the screen from 9 posibilities, this apear at random places on screen in a small window. It wasnt annoyin because everytime u get it right you get a random buff for the next 3 minutes.

2. Some games like WoW made their mobs with high dificulty, not allowing people using repetitive mechanics to overcome this challenges, there was a need of kite and micro.

3. Dont make farmable places as in cursed shore to be static. If you nerf drops there and promote good drops on movile events this can discourage bots.

4. remove completely the drops at cursed shore and other map`s static events, and make dungeon items tradable, making this would cause economy to run by people who arent botting.

5. have an active GM capable of baning people who are botting, your post said you banned 1600 bots user but i bet that 1 person can do that in a matter of a week just by searching the common boting places on static events.

6. it goes against gw2 philosophy but in other games they allowed us to pk boters but how about this, give players the ability to purchase an item like a snowball that when we throw it to another player it cause them a window to apear in a random place on the screen. If that player hit Ok they can continue moving and playing, otherwise they are unable to move or cast skills.

I know this community is full of gamers like me that has 10+ years on mmo experience and has wittnessed many awesome ideas of how other games dealt with boters, instead of posting

“Hi,
As already explained by Mike, we are very commited to fighting botters. However, we are not going keep you updated about this situation every hour, or answer personally to each questions you are asking.
As soon as we will have more information to provide, we will keep you updated here.
Thank you for your understanding & cooperation.”

You could actually listen to what some of us have to say

feel free to post ur own posible solutions, ive seen many games fall apart to bots when there is no need for this.
