after fire elemental, people were waiting at the barrier.. anyone gots keyz
anyway, some of the displaced creature mini bosses showed up and i decided to go do that instead.. i thought to myself,
what if there was a world boss encounter set up near a dimensional rift and aside from being added into the standard world boss train rotation it spawned a randomized creature several times a day..
con – would have to design multiple bosses for this “single” encounter
pro – variable play and awesomeness
there are already “busted asura gate” events in the open world, which are really fun by the way.. and i know this idea isn’t very lore oriented, but it would give players and devs countless opportunities to test drive the mechanics of boss encounters.. they could tweak already existing champs from the open world or EotM even and take player feedback.. then they can always lessen the chance to roll that particular mob and update the forums with a “hey, we took your feedback on that boss and did some really neat things with it.. although it will spawn less on the wbt now, you can always check it out in it’s usual area of the game..” and furthermore, if the developers are feeling extra ambitious.. it’s always nice to hear “hey guildie, were you at the d-rift world boss event last night? it rolled a boss i’ve never seen before.. mind = blown”    anyway, you get the idea.. i’d love to hear feedback on this suggestion
