suggesting quick armour/trait swaps
Yeah, would love to have this! a quick switch to dps and tank.
i would not mind if we can’t quick change on wvw and eotm or any pvp.
yeah you’re right, it should probably be disabled in PVP. I feel like it would still be okay in WVW or EOTM so long as you could only do it out of combat. It’d be incredible to have hotkeys for!

No I don’t like it. If we did have swapping, then it should be like in GW1 – you can only do it in towns. The Point is, that this type of system would be too easy to spoof. I think you need to make a choice in a build and deal with it.
in GW1 only place out of combat was bascially towns, but here we can do a switch anytime we are ooc, the whole idea is not just to do it fast I guess but to do it based on pre saved sheets, for convenience. Any how the system shold be avalible where the switch is avalible as it is now.

I would think that something like this would tied into the templating system that has been requested several dozen times. The up side here is that a templating system is something they have said is on their radar as something they would like to do, and we would likely see it implemented in pvp first. (This was something mentioned in passing during the twitch stream previewing and discussing the pvp changes that came in the feature pack)

Where is this closed minded direction coming from (or going to)?
There is nothing wrong with a build / equipment change function just like GW1 had….why does it only have to function in towns?
You need to be more specific about what the issue with “spoofing” is? If you are talking about checking build / equipment for Dungeons then shouldn’t THAT small fraction of the game have to “deal with it”?

I can see THIS as a legit concern (but this can be done now….abet with some difficulty). PvP has a separate build / equipment system anyway.

It would just speed up things. Since we can’t change the layout while actually in combat it wouldn’t Matter. I support this mostly cause I find the new Trait interface so un-wieldy.
