I think gw2 is a great game but with several major flaws in each profession.
Warrior: Has major profits from weaponswap witch leads to many players take the discipline line-> make 5s weaponswap baseline for warr.
Physical skills have way to big cd in comparison to rage skills and rage skills has more utility despite the lower cd. Also cd from some other utilities and shouts are way to long compared to similar powers in other professions.
Revenant: Make the weaponskill system similar to thief and remove energy cost for utilities except for upkeep, keep the cd. It is double punishing for revs usong skills because of energ cost aaand cd, bring it in line with thief.
Guardian: Sword has still a projectile on AA and mace AA is wonky because of the last hit.
Overhaul spirit weapons and their traits, they have potential but have no use in comparison to other skills. Improve concecrations and remove the ridiculous high cd from sanctuary and such.
Ranger: Pets are unbalanced and have stats which do not match theor abbilities. Make stats for each individual pet. Improve targeting and retreat commanding better, best with one ground targeted skill.
Fix bugs with pet names, make pet skill interchangeble between the pets from the same familiy when unlocked-> more reason to gather all pets, because of skins and skills.
Fix the porcine active skill and make it like steal from thief.
Overhaul spirits, same reasons as spirit weapons.
Thief: Look at the less used abbilities and improve them.
Engineer: Same as thief
Necromancer: Give power necro more love and look at astral skills.
Mesmer: Look at skills like illussion of live or null field, which could have potential but have either way to high cd or just less utility than other skills.
Elementalist: Improve conjure wepons, same reason as spirits and spiritweapons.
For all:
Improve signets, bring skills in line between professions, look at less used traits and less used skills.
Give all professions the half fall dmg trait as levelup reward and deactivate it in pvp.
I couldnt cover everything i assume because i play not all professions as intensive as others. Please add the problems which needs a fix.
And Anet take a look on these issuse for next update please.
I forget but the trait but on guardian you can remove the long cooldowns with a trait, I’m curious about what you mean by increasing in signet’s, your other suggestions are greatly interesting, but I don’t know much about the other classes anyways I really don’t think concentration is the issue with guardians atm.
