I have a few suggestions that I would like to share, and hopefully see in the future getting implemented.

I play with a few “Main characters” so this would be for those that also like to play on multiple toons.

First is bag slots for characters, so say you bought 3 extra bag slots for your main toon. Every toon should have them unlocked. Players will still have to buy bags for the slots so there is still a gold sink in doing this. 10+g for a bag, times 3 is 30g they are still spending.

Second is account bound “slot” that will hold a copper salavage o matic and a slot for silver (though I don’t think anyone will buy a silver). This would be a slot you can only place a copper or silver salvage o matic in. This slot would be accessible to every toon on your account. As it is account bound already, but I forget most of the time and or is just a hassle to wp to bank, relog, wp to bank, just to swap it.

Third is the account bound gathering tools, I also forget to change and is a hassle to keep changing as I often play different toons. There should be a “slot” for only unlimited tools from the gem store, making it accessible to all toons and no hassle.
The current mining tools like the molten pick should be upgraded to give something like the sprocket generating tool, same for the bone pick which should give something relevant. i.e t5 and sometimes t6 bones or something. Maybe they can make all the tools give sprockets, just as if we bought the other tools and didn’t know, we feel they should be as good as the extra perk in the sprocket pick.

I dont agree with the tools. It makes sense for them to sell multiple copies of convenience items, it preys on the lazyness of people, and I’m fine with that.

The same can be said about this bag shared among toons, it would be the same as having a bank open at all times, you could easily place your tools there and move to another toon. Even if I like the idea of sharing items with different toons, like the bobblehead lab, the broom, flute, etc.

For the bags themselves, I would love to see this happening. One thing is for convenience items to be bought again and again, other is an account upgrade item to be locked to a certain character, for this reason I’m not buying any bag upgrades until a change is made.

Problem is, those aren’t technically account upgrades, bag slots are character upgrades, hence the reason why you have to buy them for each character(and yes, I know it’s considered an account upgrade in the gem store, just pointing out that’s a technical choice in wording).

The amount of money they would lose by doing this is the reason it will not happen.

There are lots of people out there who have bought multiple sets of the tools already, one set for each character, as well as multiple salvage-o-matics. ANet would never have gotten that extra money if there were account bound slots for these things, and I doubt they will go that rout, as these items are a good money maker.

I can tell you, my next characters will be getting their own unlimited tools, and full bag slot unlocks, just like all 10 characters before them. That’s money in the bank for ANet. They won’t change that.
