well, i was on a gw break when super adventure box theme/event was(to be honest i didnt really know that the event existe, i only knew about southsun cove), and i heard it will come back, does anyone know anyting about it? when it will come back?

Forgive that, but the latest heard was that it’ll be returning even bigger than before, with at least one new world added to it. The box is still there in Rata Sum, but the dude outside… he ain’t spillin’ no secrets.

We don’t know when, but they’ve said they are planning to bring it back with new zones and new weapon skins.

i cant wait for part 2 of sab… that was great fun

they are saying there are 4 live development teams active right now….

this is so that when dev team one releases their content in april, dev team 2 gets may, dev team 3 gets june, dev team 4 gets july….thus giving dev team 1, 3 months to develop content for august….

so if i had to guess…we’ll be seeing it sometime in august IF we don’t get the crystal desert update that everyone is speculating

with hte july 23rd patch it will return a permanent rotation of old mini games. I am sure SAB is one of them

It isnt a mini game; its a whole dungeon.

Whatever. As long it isnt an event by itself. And I am content with the 1 AP I got from SAB which sums up what I think about catering to people who like being transported back to Nintendo games yet won’t play them on emulators/re-releases/reboots of those classic franchises.

I don’t really want to rehash the old SAB arguments but I wonder if the same art team that created SAB is part of the same art team that created all the other graphics. If that is the case I can just say they have extremely conflicting aesthetics.

Except SAB wasn’t created by one of the normal development teams, it was a very small group doing it (possibly around their normal work) on the side for April Fools. I get the impression they were surprised it was even popular.

They might have moved it into the normal development cycle now, but I haven’t seen anything to say that (I might have missed it) so for now I wouldn’t assume it will be a full update in it’s own right. Probably just something added on the side like before.
