suppressed message ... , not flexible enough
I agree, I often offer ports to the Sharkmaw jumping Puzzle, and I get Suppressed after just two or three messages in map chat that I am offering a port. Its even worse when I craft and send my SO armor and weapons when he gets a new level, I often need to send him 15+ items and get suppressed after only sending two mail.

Arenanet is going to nerf/restrict this game into the ground. It’s like they don’t want people sending mail at all.
Very, very annoying. Please fix/change this.

Yeah, it’s a tad excessive. I try sending a friend crafting materials and before I can clean out my day’s load I can get smacked down. I get why it’s there, and that’s cool, but I’d say raise the number by just a smidge.
I’m sorry I stepped outta yer box, don’ worry, if
ya whine enough they’ll put me right back.
Totally agree!
I was in the MF Dungeon and I couldn’t send everyone in my party some french fries to pass the time while we waited for a disconnected player. It only allowed me to send two mail messages, and the other two were never able to get the snack.
I wish I could trade to people standing next to me :/

I gotta agree – I GET that it’s there to aid with gold farming, RW currency trading, etc.
But it really needs to be tuned.
While at it, try to come up with a better solution on the new account limitations.
My son got a skin during the recent Super Adventure Box feature and auctioned it for a nice sum. He tried to split the proceeds with me, since both of us were almost brand new players; but we ran into the transfer cap – very annoying. In this case, that “stacked” with the suppressed message mechanic while we were figuring out what the account limit mechanic was. REALLY frustrating experience for new players.
Hell, I’ve been suppressed in /say from saying “TY” to players who’ve ressed me because of “excessive messaging”.

It’s like they don’t want us to do anything except buy their junk at the gem store.
I happen to have two accounts – only for the reason of being a massive altoholic.
My main account has all my crafters on it, thus, I have no reason to keep crafting materials on the second account.
Due to messaging limits, it’s near impossible for me simply to send my own crafting materials to myself.
I do realise the limits are there to combat nefarious actions – could we perhaps get the ability to whitelist certain senders? This would allow me to whitelist myself, and other players reporting problems in this thread to whitelist their family/friends to allow more generous messaging limits.
I envisage this will work by the recipient entering an account name into a whitelist at their end – effectively saying “I trust this person, and am willing to accept any and all mail from them”.
In order to continue to combat nefarious uses, set it up so that 72 hours must pass before it takes effect, and limit the number of whitelisted players to 5 or 10 per account.

But the problem originates from the community. If people wouldn’t be so careless about their accounts we wouldn’t have so many goldsellers. Without goldsellers we wouldn’t have those mailrestrictions.
Currently playing Heart of Thorns.
form a guild and create a guild bank for your two accounts. All items can be transferred this way.
