sword whip
Yeah, the animation is pretty stiff and clunky right now.

for a flexible sword
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.
yea, it’s very stiff. sheathed, the way it bends and extends is beautiful but when it’s on your hand, it’s almost as stiff as your standard 50 copper sword in tp.
I bought it… but I hardly see the animation :/ please make the green awesome chain’s more visible!

Gunnar’s Hold
So it wobbles when sheathed but doesn’t do the cool whip animation when used? That’s kinda lame.
I wish the skin had a custom sound of a chain extending during attacking also wish the animation was more pronounced as is i cant in good faith recommend it to friends to pick up this skin.
I do like the animation for the mesmer sword 2 attack and for the guardian sword 3 attack (at least on asura).
Just whip your sword [hair] back and forth.

Hey it’s nice if you’re a Mesmer and a Guardian at least. Right…right?
So how soon before we see people trying to make their characters look like Ivy?

I’d be surprised if someone hasn’t already. I would think everything is now there for it.
I suspect the Sclerite Greatsword also lends itself to Nightmare or Siegfried
It depends on profession. Warrior gets no “bend” at all, Thief gets a lovely green-chain trail on S/P 3, and I’m told Ranger looks really good using it.
this skin deserves a hotfix for animation or big refund

FYI, that animation is recycled for several different skills. It’s the burst skill for Warriors and it’s a dual-wield skill for Thief. I think there are a couple more but can’t think of them off the top of my head.
