Hi ,
Was wondering if anyone could tell me why my sylvari char, glows an all over yellow the armour and the skin? i have attached piccys to see what i mean lol the 1st is the one i’m on about and the others are how i’m supposed to look

Certain sylvari armor glows with your body glow color and that’s why your armor is glowing too. If you didn’t pick a body glow color during character creation, I believe that gold color is the default. During character creation you can turn off the lights to see what you look like at night. There is also a slider to adjust how bright the glow gets.

You glow at night. Some instances are at a set time. So if you go into Twilight Arbor, it will always be night time.

The item you are likely looking for is:

There are some such items ingame. The most common ones are the Poly Refractors.

If it only happens at certain times (specifically at night) then it’s because of their bioluminescence. All sylvari have this glow effect but it’s more or less noticeable depending on the colour and the intensity.

If you want to get rid of it completely you’ll need to buy a total makeover kit (or remake the character) to change it. It’s on the 4th tab down under Body Features, you pick a skin pattern, pattern colour and a glow colour and intensity.

from the picture it looks far too ‘all over’ for their normal bioluminescence. everything there is orange, it looks more like the refractor someone here mentioned.

do you glow regularly? if it was a one-off someone could have rezzed you with pumpkin oil

Thanks everyone for the suggestions , (with respect) i know sylvari’s glow in the dark but this is ALL the time lol i shall have to check about the refractor orange thingy and lo and behold it is the refractor orange thingy attatched to Oontz’s necklace of the pumpkin. lol thank you everyone
