ok so im close to about 600 fights of teq and 600 of wurm, i have yet to ever get a ascended chest from either, ive been playing for the last 2yrs, i have 300+ magic find, and not a single ascended chest has yet to drop, only thing i have ever gotten from them is the mini teq, and a whole bunch of crappy spoons. srsly after the first spoon, make them not drop anymore, they r a crappy 10s, this is what i suggest from them, have a counter system, every time u kill teq or wurm, u get a token, at 10 tokens u can buy a recipe to craft the armor or weaps, that would help with this rng crap thats happening, i see ppl with 1k achv pulling out a hoard, wtf, i have almost 12k achv and have yet to ever get a ascended chest, fix this anet, and now fractal weapons, please make them a chest, im sick and tired of getting doubles,triples of the same skin, i want the frac sword, but all i keep getting is underwater weaps, and bows. please fix this anet, and wat are ur opinions guys on this issue?

Sorry, you won’t get a lot of sympathy as there are tens of thousands of us living in RNG hell.

Well I’ve always hoped that ANet would include alternative ways of getting Tequatl and Wurm items. Personally I’m hoping they add some way of exchanging Tequatl spoon for chests (since I’ve been hoarding my spoons). But I don’t know how much of a priority it is right now with HoT coming out.
Mind you adding non-RNG ways of getting content should actually be of interest to ANet, and I hope it will be seeing as how they’re now including ways to get pre-cursors without having to rely on RNG or TP. Do people actually count how many teq runs they’ve done?
Always amaze me how accurate people can be with this kind of stuff – “I wasted 7800 g in mf trying to get a precursor” etc.

Anyways .. If I had to GUESS I would think i’ve done at least a 1000 teq runs so far, and no luck for me neither :P

I for one like statistics and do record some of my actions, although not Teq and/or Wurm kills…

I recognize human errors but I have put 4 rares into the forge 1346 times and have gotten 2 pre-cursors from it (and 262 other exotics). I have not translated that into gold but I would probably have been able to sell the rares and buy the precursor I wanted instead if it comes to gold – I do like a lottery even when it’s more fun if I am on the winning side.
