tf2 medic vs gw2 "support" roles
Was wondering this myself at launch. It seems they still haven’t solved the (you must do X amount of DPS to said mob for credit) thing they started at launch.
Many of us were against that too because that made it so that you would have to either be grouped with the people you were around or healing, (which often turned into more then five) or you would have to be all DPS.
We’re seeing the effects of that design flaw now, everyone wants everyone to be zerker all the time now in dungeons. Can’t have toughness or healing gear, can’t be specced for anything other then burst DPS, and if your class just happens to be one of the nerfed classes in PVE tough luck, go find some other group.
Pretty much sums up the problem.
