ARGH!!!!

I used to be able to hop out out of WVW and be able tu run right over to get my armor patched up, grab a couple of salvage kits, but the nicey-nice stuff in the bank, get some stuff from the gem store, and a few other things nearby if I wanted to use them too. Plus there were two other places in LA just as convenient and other merchants littred about.

Now there is NO central area like that. I have only found one merchant in the entire city to buy salvage kits from and they were off near the skritt cave (I asked a guide NPC and the only general merchant he showed me was where armorsmith is). Sure, LA looks nice, but services tend to cluster, especially ones where it is one person with MAYBE a pushcart. Real life cities grow like that. The racial cities are like that. Why is lion’s arch so …. not?

I am hoping this does not stay static and I do not have to go someplace like the black citadel after gating in just to be near everything

yeah. I agree the locations are too far away compared to the Destroyed LA

but here is a protip: south of the mystic forge and just bit north of jellyfish dome there are a general merchant for salvage kits and an anvil for repairing. The anvil doesnt have an icon on map so not may people know of it.

Why not just go to the crafting area and buy your salvage kits from the master craftsmen? I find it easy to WP in, hit the crafting area for my bank/merch/crafting needs, and then head just a touch south to the TP. No big deal at all.

It is now faster to have different characters parked at different stations to accomplish what you could on one in half the time before. It is " LS" instead of " LA" for " Loading screens" Every time you WP it is LS LS LS LS ugh. takes less time to log into a different character than it does to WP and run. Lion’s arch was made unnecessarily tedious.

It is a huge deal for some of us due to how much we actually use this area, and what we use it for. It is faster to log into multiple characters now than to use LA the way it is.

I have to run all the way from the bank to the TP which feels way further than previously. There’s no central spot and it’s irritating.

Guess I’ll stick to DR/The Grove for convenience.

It’s nice that they made so many different areas and divided them up so that each area had a specific purpose.

But after running around a few times this gets old quick.

Please add a centralized spot where we can access the bank, tp, merchant and repair dude.

Another idea: if you really want everyone to experience the whole city instead of just one area I would suggest having a moving “services” group where they set up shop in different areas of LA on a weekly basis. I think that could be really fun. The centralized spot would change every week.

*near the wvw portals with Guild bank and services and places to craft food/ stones /oils for runs too.. Just put it all in the wvw portal section and we are good to go <3
