so a little while back the wallet feature was introduced. claiming to consolidate the ridiculous number of currencies in gw2 into 1 account bound place.
the glaring problem with this is that anet (for some reason) splits in game currency into 2 categories.
currency (19 of them), which are stored/displayed in the wallet, hero or guild pannels.
and
tokens (5 permanent and 19 tied to living world, some of which are unusable for 12 month periods such as wintersday, halloween and dragon bash tokens).
it strikes me as very odd that less than half the currencies in game appear in the wallet, many of which (although not useable at this time) may be useful in the future.
i bring this up because we know from experience that almost every living world patch comes with a new currency and we also know that said currency always takes inventory space rather than going in the wallet.
considering we now know every future living world patch will be permanent and also (can assume) every living world patch brings a new currency we can estimate the total number of currencies not covered by the wallet to be somewhere around 50 by the end of season 2.
so if we continue as we’re going a new player starting to play the game at the end of season 2 (considering all of s2 is replayable/avalible to them) they would be looking at having around 25 slots of bank/inv taken just by currency.
tldr.
WHY DO TOKENS NOT GO IN THE WALLET ANET!?!?!?!!!111!!!111one!!!
